There are so many great cities to call home in the United States. Teeming with things to do, great nightlife, tremendous job opportunities, and bursting with amazing people to meet, it is an absolute wonder why people would pass all of that up and instead move to Baltimore, Maryland.
I mean, when one of your most notable citizens is the notorious cousin-lover Edgar Allen Poe and perhaps the most beloved athlete to ever ingratiate himself to the city is the known murderer Ray Lewis, there’s clearly some deep seeded issues within your city.
Today, we will be taking a look at the top 10 reasons not to move to Baltimore, Maryland.
#10 Hurricane Season is a real threat
While Maryland has it’s fair share of coastal land, it’s not the first place people think of when considering areas fraught with hurricanes.
But in the last 70 years, there have been over 120 tropical storms, hurricanes, and tropical depressions to affect the Baltimore area.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not down to brave the elements twice a year, risking life, limb and property.
