From great breweries and restaurants to majestic monuments and serene parks, Houston has a great variety of local attractions to see to satisfy the sightseeing cravings an average tourist arrives with. Here we discuss the best that the “Baghdad of the Bayou” has to offer.

The James Turrell Twilight Epiphany Skyspace

The James Turrell Twilight Epiphany Skyspace provides a unique light mosaic during the twilight times: right before sunrise and after sunset. It is located on the Rice University campus right here in Houston and it has two levels that can encompass anywhere around 200–250 people.

Besides being artsy, this massive structure serves as a music rehearsal space for the Shepherd School of Music students.

Make sure to get here a little before the twilight time so you won’t miss out on the spectacular color palette the Skyspace LED lights are creating with the natural light combined. It is a truly magnificent sight to see!

When you are done enjoying the cool changing lights performance, it is time for some nightlife action and if you happened to be a male somewhere between the ages of 21 and 35, you would definitely want to check…
