Since the pandemic began, most of us have been spending our time locked up and safe, or at least trying to be. But, what cities ranked as being the worst for violent crime and disarray in the US this year?

There is no doubt that while most of us were stuck in quarantine there were still places with thriving criminal activities and seedy neighborhoods throughout the country. As we begin this countdown we will take a look into what cities are most dangerous and why that is. Let’s dive right in and take a peek at the ten most dangerous ghettos in the US.

Detroit, Michigan

There are several cities that make our list but it’s no surprise to see that Michigan is the first. When you consider some of the statistics of other metro areas in Michigan that have also been in the news in recent years, that have also been in the news in recent years, it is not shocking that the first city on our list is in the Great Lakes State.

Detroit used to be a thriving metropolis, but in the past twenty years it has turned into a rapidly decaying urban nightmare.
