Many immigrants that move to the United States are unsure which cities are the best place to move to. The average city in the United States has immigration policies that can help or hurt any immigrant regardless of immigration status.

We’ve chosen the top 10 cities for immigrants to move to based on their immigration policies, safety measures, resources, and integration policies.

Detroit, MI

The first city we want to talk about is Detroit, Michigan. Detroit is a vibrant city in Michigan that’s experiencing a decline in overall citizenship. As a result, Detroit has been more welcoming to immigrants and refugees because they have the space and resources to do so.

Detroit has ample resources for immigrants and refugees that move to their community. One example of this is Global Detroit, which connects immigrants and refugees with over 700 organizations. Many immigrants even start their own businesses in Detroit with the support of organizations like Global Detroit.
