10. Utah

The miles and miles of sandy desert land, steep mountains, and deep canyons may not seem to be the ideal place to grow anything but cactus, but as it turns out the Beehive State is swarming with reasons it’s a great state to raise a family in.

There are many diverse festivals that take place throughout the year so your children can learn about other cultures and traditions. Hiking and biking the trails that run through the state is tons of fun too.

The sky is the limit when it comes to the possibilities the North Star State has to offer families.
